Crock Pot Grits

An old timey flavor that's pleased for generations!

Ingredients

6 cups half-n-half or whipping cream
2 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups Byrd Mill Old Tyme white or yellow uncooked stoneground grits
1 package (8 oz. size) cream cheese
1 package (12 oz. size) grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 stick butter

Directions:
Bring to a boil the half-n-half, broth, salt/pepper, and garlic powder. Gradually, stir in grits.

Pour into crock pot. Add the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and butter. Cook on low 6-8 hours, or high for about 4 hours (maybe a little less time or a little more, depending on your crockpot).

Stir occasionally. If you see the grits becoming too thick, add more chicken broth or half-n-half.
